Local Government Matters 2021 All-Party Federal Election Forum

On September 15, Metro Vancouver hosted an All-Party Federal Election Forum. A panel of local elected officials posed questions to federal candidates on critical regional issues, including climate resilience, infrastructure funding, affordable housing, economic prosperity, and transit and transportation.

Candidate participants:

  • Peter Julian, New Westminster-Burnaby, NDP
  • Randeep Sarai, Surrey Centre, Liberal Party
  • Dr. Cheryl Matthew, Vancouver East, Green Party

Note: Invitations were extended to all four major parties with sitting MP in the region, however the Conservative Party did not provide a participant.
