The COVID-19 pandemic has added urgency to the issues that undermine the long-term well-being of the Metro Vancouver region and its residents.
Local governments, as stewards of critical infrastructure and providers of essential services, are uniquely positioned to make a positive difference, but cannot go it alone. In anticipation of the upcoming provincial election, we reached out to B.C.’s three main political parties to determine where they stand on key issues and how they intend to work with Metro Vancouver and other local jurisdictions to address them.
